Judy Garland was twice honored on U.S. postage stamps. The first time was in 1989 (as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz) and then again in 2006 (as Vicki Lester from A Star is Born). The word “iconic” may be over-used today, but not ever, in her case. Judy Garland was one of a rare, great kind.
