Virginia Mayo starred with Danny Kaye in several memorable comedies for Samuel Goldwyn, but is best known for roles with Dana Andrews in THE BEST YEARS OF OUR LIVES (1946) and with James Cagney in WHITE HEAT (1949). During that period, the late 1940’s, she was the top box office money-maker for Warner Bros.
