On behalf of the Hedy Lamar Estate, CMG Worldwide is pleased to announce the donation of Ms. Lamar’s personal journal to the Smithsonian Institution Archives. Among other inventions and personal entries, the journal features Ms. Lamar’s original sketches, diagrams, and invention papers on the “frequency-hopping technology” that would earn her induction to the National Inventors Hall of Fame and the moniker “The Mother of Wi-fi”. Denise Loder-DeLuca, Ms. Lamar’s granddaughter and estate trustee, is thrilled to know that the papers will remain an accessible and educational resource for generations to come.
